Visiting Lecture Series - Professor Jae Jun Jeong, Ph.D.
From October 5th until October 9th, Professor Jae Jun Jeong from Pusan National University visited the Brno University of Technology to deliver special lectures.
Jae Jun Jeong is a professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, which is part of Pusan National University in South Korea. Professor Jeong acquired all his degrees (most recently his doctoral degree) in the Nuclear Engineering major while studying at Seoul National University and KAIST. His research interests include Nuclear Safety, Thermal-Hydraulic System Modeling and Simulation, Two-Phase Flow, and Advanced Nuclear Reactor Development. Professor Jeong has vast experience in the nuclear field. His experience includes positions such as Principal Researcher at KAIST, member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology, Professor at PNU, and many others.
Special Lecture Course taught by Professor Jeong was a 15-hour intensive course covering modeling principles, transient analysis, and simulator applications for a pressurized water reactor (PWR) plant.
